OUR SHIPPING POLICY
You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol, and an adult must be present upon delivery to sign for your package.
Ole’ Orleans Wines and Spirits strives to stay up to date with the ever-changing wine shipping laws, but in case of a new development that prevents your order from being processed, your order will be refunded or canceled as soon as possible. At this time, Ole’ Orleans Wines and Spirits can not ship alcohol to the following states:
Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, and Utah.
Orders are processed during regular business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Since our inventory is spread out among multiple locations, it can take up to five to seven days business days to process your order for shipping. Orders placed on Friday after 12PM will be shipped the following Monday to maintain quality control.
There is no minimum order amount to receive shipping. The cost of goods does not include shipping. All shipments containing alcoholic products have a $4.00 Adult Signature charge added as required by FedEx / UPS; this fee is included in shipping charges. Eco-friendly packing materials are complementary. Insulated Styrofoam shipping boxes are complementary.
Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes, freight forwarders, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally. We can ship to a home or business address, however, we prefer to ship to a business address where someone will be available to sign, or to a UPS Store location where it will be held for pickup at the recipient's convenience for up to a week.
We strongly urge you to consider the effect of weather conditions when selecting a shipping method. If you notify us that you would like your order to be put on hold until temperature conditions are more suitable for shipping, we will do so at no additional cost. If you wish to purchase wine now and have us store it until further notice, please note as much in the 'Comments and Special Instructions' box on the checkout page. We do not give refunds or honor claims of wine damaged in shipping by extreme temperatures.
Upon purchasing any alcoholic products from OleOrleans.com, you are hereby acknowledging the necessity and understanding that there must be an adult with proper identification available to sign for said purchase. FedEx / UPS will attempt no more than three times to deliver unless contacted by the recipient until the package is returned to the sender. Ole’ Orleans Wines and Spirits will not refund any shipping charges accrued during your order and is not responsible for products lost or damaged by FedEx / UPS. If this does occur we will do our best to find a swift resolution to make sure you are happy with your experience. In-Store Pick-Up orders are subject to the same terms as all online purchases, less any shipping regulations. All customers must be 21 years of age and have valid identification that matches the user name on the order, ready upon pick up.
